Join the board

The Problem Board is a board of open research problems for the Georgia Institute of Technology research community. Anyone who has signed up can pose a problem, and anyone who has signed up can claim a solution — they are not different kinds of member. Work done with AI assistance is welcome, and should be disclosed on the page.

Three things to know before you join

1. You sign yourself up — but it must be your gatech.edu address. Nobody approves you and there is no queue to wait in: enter a gatech.edu address, click the link we email you, and you are a member. Any other address is refused when the link is asked for and again when it is clicked, and there is no way in without one.
2. Contributions carry your real name. Problems, claims, and discussion are all attributed. There are no pseudonyms here.
3. Anything on a public problem is visible to the world under that name. Problems start visible to members only. A submitter can ask for one to be published, and an admin decides. Once it is public, so is every claim and comment on it.
